Figures are indicative estimates for guidance only and are not a substitute for a formal salary benchmark or nomination assessment. We confirm current, occupation-specific figures as part of your consultation.

Salary isn't just about the occupation.

Where you work matters as much as what you do — regional and remote roles often pay above metro rates to attract skilled workers, and several also carry migration incentives.

Employer sponsored roles must meet the Core Skills Income Threshold, which sets a wage floor independent of market averages — a figure we factor into every sponsorship case.

Occupation & salary questions

Are these figures guaranteed?+
No — they're indicative averages for guidance only. Actual offers depend on employer, state, experience and current market conditions. We provide occupation-specific benchmarking as part of your case.
What is the Core Skills Income Threshold?+
It's the minimum annual wage an employer sponsored role must meet under the Subclass 482 and 186 pathways, set by the Australian Government and updated periodically. We confirm the current figure and check it against your offer.
Does my occupation need to be on a skilled list to migrate?+
For most skilled pathways, yes — your nominated occupation must appear on the relevant list (MLTSSL, STSOL or ROL) for your visa subclass. We check this and map it to your skills assessment authority.
Do regional salaries really pay more?+
Often, yes — many regional employers offer above-metro pay to attract skilled migrants, and regional roles can also open eligibility for the Subclass 491 pathway with its own benefits.
